ECC (23-20) took down the defending Region 16 Champion Mineral Area College Cardinals by a score of 6-4 at the NJCAA Region 16 Softball Tournament in Nevada, MO. The Falcons will come back in the next game to face Cottey College in the winner’s bracket of the tournament. As the tournament progresses into the second day, the team winning between East Central and Cottey will be in the best position at 2-0 with two chances to bring home a title.
