Two wins on the second day of the 1oth Annual Falcon Classic has Coach Lisa Mathes-Peter’s team with 4-0 record and a tournament title. The first match of the day had ECC pitted against Missouri Baptist University JV. The Falcons took the match three sets to one by scores of 25-10, 17-25, 25-17, 25-17. After the second set, the Falcons exposed the weaknesses in the Spartan defense and capitalized with a couple long rallies.

The second and final match of the day had the Falcons facing the Southwestern Illinois Blue Storm. Both teams were 3-0 heading into the final match. The first set was a nail biter as ECC had to come back from being down by four points late in the set. The dramatic swing helped ECC win the set 26-24 and the added momentum went the way of the Falcons the rest of the match. ECC knocked off SWIC three sets to zero with a scoreline of 25-24, 25-15, 25-21. The two players named to the All-Tournament team for the Falcons were Cameron Hackman and Grace Goedde.
