The East Central College Falcons will be roosting at home for the NJCAA Region 16 DII baseball tournament this weekend. It is a three day tournament spanning the weekend of May 5-7. The Falcons will be the #2 seed facing the #3 seed Moberly Area Community College on Friday, May 5 at 3:30PM. The loser’s bracket will resume play on Saturday at 9;00AM and the winner’s playing at 12:30PM. The championship game will be held on Sunday, May 7 at 11:00AM.
ECC sports a 20-20 record heading into the tournament and is ready to make some in front of the home crowd. Attendance numbers are expected to be high as the team will also take time to recognize the first baseball coach, Mr. Tom Dill in a dugout dedication ceremony on Saturday, May 6 at 11:30AM.
