A rough weekend at the Lincolnland Tournament saw ECC go 1-3 against top level competition to fall to 12-9 for a season mark. The bright sport was a five set win over Kankakee Community College by scores of 25-22, 23-25, 18-25, 25-21, 15-6. A gritty performance had the Falcons down 2-1 in sets as they gained momentum and rallied to win the tiebreaking set. McKenzie Struckhoff had one her most productive matches of the season as she collected 18 kills. Cameron Hackman followed up by registering a 10 kill match of her own. Kayla Borcherding led on the defensive side of the court with 21 digs. The Falcons dropped the other three matches in straight sets to Sauk Valley, John A. Logan and Lincolnland.
