The Falcons (5-11) were able to come from behind late against the Frontier Community College Bobcats to secure the victory 2-1 in the first game of a double header. A stellar pitching performance from Will DesHotels and improved defense led the Falcons to victory.

DesHotels only let up one run through six innings and Shane Kearbey came in to get the save pitching in the bottom of the 7th as he shut the door on the Bobcats.

Hits from the Falcons came from Trevor Packan, Trey Orman, Will Sisk, Grant Beck and Logan Baker. Baker was able to collect the first RBI to tie the score at 1-1 in the top of the 7th inning by driving in Trevor Packan. ECC was then able to add the game winning run with runners on base and a Frontier error allowed Logan Baker to cross the plate for the eventual game winner.

The second game in the double header had ECC struggling as they fell 11-1. ECC was able to muster hits from Justin Rogers, Austin McKim, Ethan Lindemann and Grant Beck. A tough game pitching for the Falcons had ECC working hard to come from behind all game.

ECC comes back home with a four-game set against Hesston College over two days this weekend.
