The Falcons (4-1) have found the winning formula early in the season as they knocked off another opponent in Missouri Baptist JV going five sets by scores of 19-25, 25-20, 22-25,25-18, 15-7 in St. Louis, MO. A good start to the season has East Central finding their strengths on the court. Last night McKenzie Struckhoff registered 16 kills and freshman Jessica Kelly also added double digit kills with 12. On the assist side, Natalie Green and Janice Steacy had 27 and 13 helpers respectively. A host of defensive plays came from Emma Borcherding, Grace Goedde, Lydia Klenke registering good numbers in the dig department.

East Central is looking to find their form heading into a tri-match over Labor Day Weekend against Rend Lake College and McKendree University JV in Ina, IL. Shortly after the tri-match, the Falcons will face Jefferson College and Mineral Area college in back to back MCCAC Conference matchups.
