The ECC Falcons (4-6) were able to bring out the brooms after a double header sweep of the Mineral Area College Cardinals with 3-2 and 6-4 victories. Tight games were highlighted with big hits coming from a variety of Falcon bats.

The first game had the Falcons scoring one run in the 4th inning on an RBI double from Peyton Robinson. Mya Hillermann and Taylor Hanger decided to do the same in the 5th inning as the pair drove in a run each with a doubles to lift the score to 3-0 .

Hanger went six straight scoreless innings pitching before allowing a 2-run homer in the top of the seventh inning, but the Falcons held tight to end the first game 3-2.

The second game of the day saw the Falcons start strong with three runs scored in the 2nd inning started with a solo home run by Hillermann. The next run was scored by Hanger on a pass ball.  Then a double steal scored Robinson to make the score 3-0. Grace Moseley added insurance to make the score 4-0 in the 4th inning with a solo home run of her own. Then the wheels came off the bus for the Falcons as three errors led to 4 runs in the top of the fifth inning tying the game.  The game was scoreless through the top of the 8th inning until Robinson launched a rocket of a shot with a walk-off two-run homer.
