As the Falcons (21-19) head into the last week of the regular season, the skies are opening up as the hits are coming back. ECC outhit Lewis & Clark 16 to 1 in the first game of a double header sweep. The Falcons flew past the Trailblazers in the first game 11-2 and had to make a comeback in the second game to win 6-5. Ashley Miller led the team in the first game offensively and defensively. She went 3 for 3 and collected two RBI. Also, she pitched a one hitter going the distance from the circle for the Falcons. Megan Micke and Monica Kelley both had two hits and two RBI in the win.  Micke launched a home run over the fence at the 430 foot mark.

The second game didn’t go the same way as the Falcons were trailing 5-3 after three innings. The Falcons clawed away at the lead as the scored one run in the 5th, 6th and 7th innings respectively to come out on top 6-5.  Despite being outhit in the game, the Falcons held strong defensively registering a double play late in the game to keep the Trailblazers from taking the lead. Ashley Miller came into the game late and recorded three strikeouts and got the win for ECC.
