The East Central College Softball was honored by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association being named to the 2018 Easton/ NFCA Top Ten Academic Team Rankings. The ECC softball team from last spring had a 3.57 GPA which was the 6th highest in the nation for the junior college classification. Alayna Abney, Marissa Boyd, Jensen Crenshaw, Kori Fiedler, Ashley Mmiller, Taylor Ruth, Amber Streumph, Jordy Vrba, Samanatha White were named to the Easton NFCA All-American Scholar Athletes list.
