The East Central College Falcons (3-1) were able to bring home the ECC Falcon Labor Day Classic title with a convincing 2-0 win over undefeated Morton College. The Falcons battled with the Panthers in the first half. At half time the 0-0 tie was not indicative of the possession of play and scoring opportunities missed by the Falcons. A couple of close chances just missed had ECC knocking on the door in the second half again until Zach Druhe connected on a Magnus Andersen corner kick to find the back of the net in the 53rd minute. A boost to the attack occurred as Morton went down a man on a red card. The Falcons were determined to finish the game strong as Magnus Andersen sent another corner kick into the box with Ralph Joseph notching his first goal of the season to make it 2-0. Another wave of attacks came at the end of the match and the referee blew his whistle right when another scoring chance developed ending the game 2-0. Lewis Brass recorded his 3rd shutout and 3rd victory of the season in the nets for ECC.
