The East Central College Softball Falcons  (2-3-1) found their bats at home as the team posted double digit scores in both games of a double header sweep of the Missouri Baptist University JV Spartans winning 13-2 and 10-2. The first game of the day had ECC off balance in the first inning and then the floodgates started to open as Jenna Crider knocked in the first run of the day in the second. Kristyn England followed up with a monstrous two run double to make the score 3-0 which turned out to be the game winning RBI. England collected three RBI in the first game to lead the offensive charge for the Falcons. Haley Schulte faced 21 batters in five innings and only allowed two runs pitching.

A tighter second game had Eva Dawson pitching from the circle and keeping the game in check throughout six innings. ECC had a booming 4th inning by loading the bases and driving in runs through singles. Then Maddie Greco came up to the plate when the score was 4-1 and quieted the Spartans as she belted a grand slam to make the score 8-1 and out of reach of the opposition. ECC won the second game 9-2 in six innings as Jenna Crider ended the game with her second RBI.
