The Falcons head to the post season with optimism in their bid to win the NJCAA Region 16 DII volleyball title match. Tight matches in region play during the regular season make the upcoming tournament this weekend any teams’ chance to capture a crown.
Despite late season losses, the Falcons are starting to get play from different players in the line-up that will prove key to post season success. A big key for the Falcons’ success will be improving their all-around game from the back row defense to the attack. A key player, Allison Tonioli had a break out game against MCCKC over the weekend where she registered 20 kills.
East Central College will take on St. Louis Community College at 6:00PM on Friday, November 1 for the first match of the tournament between the #2 and #3 seeds. The winner will then face the #1 seed Metropolitan Community College Kansas City the next morning at 11:00AM.
