The Falcons, now 12-8 on the season, went through the weekend not firing on all cylinders at the St. Louis Community College Tournament. ECC picked up one victory over Millikin University JV by scores of 25-19, 26-24 and 25-20. In the match, Symantha Fredrick was one of the consistent offensive players recording 12 kills. The twins Nicole and Haley Roper had a good match in the statistics department collecting 13 assists and 22 digs respectively.
The rest of the matches had the Falcons playing well taking the first set in all three, but couldn’t close the deal. The Falcons lost to Lewis and Clark 25-11, 17-25, 19-25, 25-20, 13-15 as well as to Kaskaskia 27-25, 23-25, 22-25, 26-28. A final tough loss was to Central Methodist University JV by scores of 25-22, 18-25, 20-25, 18-25.
