The Falcons were happy after their first double header sweep of the Central Methodist University JV by scores of 11-3 and 11-2. It was a great start to the season as the Falcons were flying high behind the offense of power of Kori Fiedler, who had four hits. Both Marissa Boyd and Alyssa Moore collected three hits in the first game. Boyd had 4 RBI to lead the team. From the circle, Maya Street picked up her first official college victory on the season.

The second game went even better for the Falcons as Jamie Kluba led the offensive charge with three hits and two RBI. Marissa Boyd and Seeley Friend also drove in two runs each. Mackenzie Altenthal was the bright spot on defense with 9 strikeouts in her college pitching debut.
