East Central College (12-4) was able to take one match over the weekend when they faced Greenville University JV and Southwestern Illinois College. The Falcons knocked off Greenvillle University JV by scores of 25-21, 25-23, 25-18. ECC lost to SWIC 17-25, 16-25, 25-21, 24-26. Leanata Leakehe returned to the line-up and led the Falcons in the kills department. Trinity Clark kept up her stellar defensive play leading the Falcons in the digs department.
The Falcons were tripped up for the first time against a DII all season. ECC is hoping to gel with a rejuvenated line-up and some better overall team chemistry like earlier games this season.
