The ECC Falcons (6-12) had an interesting day at home as they split a double header with the Hesston College Larks by scores of 13-12 in the win and 23-10 in the loss. The first game was started by Alfred Ulloa who went 5 1/3 innings, striking out nine and giving up 10 runs on 9 hits. Ulloa ended up getting the win as Shane Kearbey collected the save. Mario Columbo, Andy Hueste, Will Sisk, Tyson Dent and Trey Orman all collected multiple hits in the game. Hueste had a triple and registered three RBI in the first game. Orman and Sisk collected 2 RBI each.

ECC took an early 7-1 lead after the first inning and then an eventual 10-2 lead before Hesston started going deep. Four home runs made the game extremely close in the top of the 6th inning. The Falcons held on as Kearbey registered two strikeouts in the top of the seventh to seal the victory.

The second game on tap for the day started slower with Hudson Stark keeping the game in reach for a period of time as the starting pitcher. Trailing in the sixth inning 10-4,  Ethan Lindemann and Austin McKim drove in runs to reel the Larks within striking distance. Dent kept the hit parade going with a game tying grand slam to notch the game at 10-10 in the bottom of the sixth inning. Luciano Terrelli, Will Sisk and Mario Columbo all had multiple hits in the game.Then the wheels fell of the bus for the Falcons with their relief pitching giving up 13 runs in the top of the 7th.
