The East Central College Falcons (8-7) put up big numbers in the first game of a double header split with the Lewis & Clark Trailblazers winning 13-3, but had a hard time finding hits in the second game with a 6-2 loss.

The best way to describe the first game was a tight contest through four innings and then the Falcons broke the score wide open with big hits coming from DeVon Jennings and Trey Orman. Jennings had two hits and three RBI where Orman had two hits and two RBI.

Austin McKim, Luciano Terilli, TJ Schwartz, Jarrett Hamlett, Tyson Dent and all drove in one run each. Dent had three stolen bases as the Trailblazers struggled to find their defense in the first game.

Hayden Steelman went six innings striking out three batters in the start only giving up three earned runs a getting the win.

The second game didn’t flow as smooth as the Falcons struggled to score and could only put together 4 hits with 2 coming from Cameron Leach.
