The East Central College Falcons (3-5-1) put together a complete game with a win over the St. Louis Community College Archers 2-1. As the Falcons played well in the first half they weren’t finding many scoring chances. Kylee Mobley tucked in a pass at the end of the first half to give East Central College a 1-0 lead. The Falcons held tight with defensive stops including a big save in goal by Gabbi Mattli. The shot was to the low left corner and Mattli with an outstretched hand tipped away a sure goal.

The Archers scored to tie the game at 1-1 and ECC was ready to change the narrative of the score line by starting to press harder in the second half. Sommer Schneider found a pass in the 79th minute as she broke into space to beat the STLCC keeper for the game winner. The Falcons then played the last 10 minutes a player down after a red card, but kept the Archers from getting many looks on goal.
