East Central College Baseball (13-15) split a double header with the St. Louis Community College Archers losing the first game 9-5 and winning the second 10-8. ECC was up 3-0 in the first inning of the first game, but the Archers found their way back in the late innings to take the lead for good.

The Falcons built an eight-run lead in the third inning of the second game and then held off St. Louis’s charge for a 10-8 victory.  St. Louis scored six runs in the failed comeback.

East Central College got things moving in the first inning.  Trey Orman grounded out, scoring one run.

The Falcons put up four runs in the third inning.  The big inning was started by an error on a ball put in play by Orman. Orman and DeVon Jennings scored on single by Austin McKim.

Luciano Terilli led things off on the hill for East Central College. The pitcher lasted three and two-thirds innings, allowing six hits and six runs while striking out five.

Terilli, Cameron Leach, Jennings, and McKim each managed one hit to lead East Central College.  The Falcons didn’t commit a single error.
