Former ECC Falcon men’s soccer captain, NJCAA 1st Team All-Region selection and NCAA Academic All-American Leonard Sowa (Berlin, Germany) was named the NCAA DII Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Offensive Player of the Week in the first week of the 2022 season. This season marks Sowa’s fifth year in the United States college game as he was granted an extra year due to COVID. Along with fellow East Central College teammate, Arman Kovac, Sowa has put up impressive numbers on the offensive side of the pitch for the Tritons. He leads the team in goals and points after the first week of the season.
