The Falcons (5-3) on the season found themselves trailing in the third minute of the match 1-0 against MCCKC, but wound up finding the back of the net six times to prevail with a 6-3 win over the Wolves. A great touch on the first goal was scored by Sam Ennis as he tied the match up 1-1 as he slammed home a Miguel Gonzalez free kick rebound. The Falcons then found their form when Joao Pimenta dribbled through three defenders to tuck in a nice second goal in the 25th minute.
The Falcons then had control of the match at the start of the second half as Scott Peggie let one fly from about 30 yards out and it was misplayed by the keeper to find the back of the net. Up 3-1, Miguel Gonzalez was added to the score sheet as Stephen Akot fed him a goal in the 56th minute. Leading 4-1 with 14 minutes left Coach Clayes put in the second team a little too soon and then Falcons imploded allowing 2 goals in 5 minutes. The score was 4-3 for about three minutes and then Mitchell Foley and Stephen Akot rounded out the scoring to make the final 6-3. Julio Gonzalez and James Baxter had excellent defensive performances.
