It was a wild and successful run through the end of the NJCAA Region 16 Tournament for the East Central College Falcons as they won the championship and advanced to the district title game falling to NJCAA ranked #6 Heartland 2-1. ECC was led by their sophomore playmaker Miguel Gonzalez who completed his third season being named an NJCAA 3rd Team All-American. His play on the field was recognized by the Region 16 coaches as he was voted as the #2 ranked player in the region. Gonzalez finished his third season with 7 goals and 9 assists.
