ECC Softball (6-5) elevated the team’s record above .500 by sweeping a double header against Missouri Valley College JV by scores of 5-2 and 12-2. The first game of the double header found the Falcons clawing their way back into the game after trailing 2-0 in the first inning. Taylor Hanger found her form and started fooling batters with some different looks pitching from the circle. Ashleigh Damazyn and Aubree Eaton collected RBI hits to notch the game up at 2-2 early in the 3rd inning. Later in the bottom of the third with two runners on, Mya Hillermann launched a three-run homer to prove to be the game winning hit in the first game.

The second game had the Falcons trailing 1-0 to the Lady Vikings after the top of the first, then it was all ECC from then on out. A total team hitting effort had the Falcons knocking the ball all over the field from the plate. Morgan Green had three RBI to lead ECC with Emma Weston and Ashleigh Damazyn both adding two of their own.  Mya Hillermann, Nicole Truitt, Aubree Eaton all collected RBI hits to send ECC to a 12-2 victory. Morgan Green helped her team and herself at the plate as she led the team in RBI and got the win for the Falcons.
