The ECC Softball Falcons (14-9) were able to fly past the Central Methodist University JV Eagles by scores of 7-5 and 10-4 in a double header played in Fayette, MO. ECC found their usual form hitting well and improved their team defense to bring home two victories. A marquee win was spot lighted with Aubree Eaton and Emma Weston both going two for four at the plate. Morgan Green and Addie Konkel also added hits to drive in two runs each. Pitching for the Falcons, Taylor Hanger improved her record putting another “W” in the win column.

The second game had more runs scored as hot hitting, Nicole Truitt launched two bombs over the fence and collected 4 RBI in the game to send the Falcons to another victory. Mya Hillermann wasn’t to be denied as she added a timely 3 RBI triple to follow in the hit parade led by Truitt. Morgan Green came in and held the Eagles off balance going the distance pitching.

Heading into the remainder of the week, the Falcons have an extremely busy schedule with games against Jefferson, Three Rivers, Shawnee and North Arkansas.
