After a few tough losses for the Falcons (14-9-1) early in the week atonement was on the horizon as the team rebounded to put a few W’s in the win column.  ECC knocked off Culver Stockton JV by scores of 3-1 and 8-2 in Canton, MO.  Coach Wallach’s squad has been resilient all year as they have been able to bounce back every time the see some deficiencies from previous games.

The pitchers in both games were the highlighted performers as Haley Schulte sat down 8 batters with strikeouts and Addie Konkel came back in the second match-up of the double header with 5 strikeouts of her own.

A big week of road games lies ahead for ECC as they face two conference opponents in St. Charles Community College and Mineral Area College. The second match-up against the MAC Cardinals will have post season region tournament seeding implications. The Falcons swept MAC last week, but needed some offensive heroics in the first game to hold on to a 14-10 victory.
