The East Central College Volleyball Falcons, now 16-10, had an aerial battle with the Central Methodist JV Eagles in Fayette, MO on Monday night. ECC downed the Eagles by scores of 25-21, 25-13, 25-15. The Falcons were paced on the offensive side of the net by freshmen McKenzie Struckhoff, Cameron Hackman and Emma Borcherding with 8 kills each. Another quality effort on the defense had a number of Falcons racking up the digs. Kayla Borcherding led with 22 and Mackenzy Vedder was not far behind with 16 digs of her own. The team is recovering from mid-season injuries and preparing for the Region 16/ District O tournament coming up the first weekend in November at St. Louis Community College.
